Exploring Nature with 4-H Education Center at Finch Hollow
If you've been missing Finch Hollow, here's your chance to understand Trees, Birds & Ecosystems, and some Nature Walks where we discover fall trees and tracks and traces!
There is a 15 person limit on these programs so sign up early to reserve your spot! Parents, each person in attendance must be registered, including those accompanying the child(ren). Please only take the spots you will need. Registration is required. All COVID-19 social distancing protocols will be in place during our programs and masks are mandatory. If you don't have one, one will be provided for you. We request that you only sign up for one venue per topic to ensure as many families as possible can attend our programs!

TREES, BIRDS & ECOSYSTEMS:
Join us for an introductory guided nature walk through the park! At each park we will explore the ecosystem that the park has to offer including trees, birds, insects and plants.
Otsiningo Park -- SEPT. 30: 2:30 PM - 4 PM
Cole Park -- OCT 2: 2:30 PM - 4 PM
Dorchester Park -- OCT 7: 2:30 PM - 4 PM
Greenwood Park -- OCT 9: 2:30 PM - 4 PM
FALL TREES: NATURE WALKS
Come enjoy the changing colors of Fall! Join us for a guided nature walk where we will help you learn about and how to identify trees.
Cole Park: OCT 17th, 8:30am-10am & 10:30am-Noon
Greenwood Park: OCT 17th 1:30 PM - 3 PM & 3:30 PM - 5 PM
TRACKS & TRACES: NATURE WALKS
Ever wonder what animals live in the area parks? Join us to find out! We will be exploring the tracks an traces left behind by local wildlife as we take a nature walk through the park.
