2021-22 Marching Band and Guard *NEW*
Hello, Marching Band Parents!
A fun way to volunteer is by working in the Candy Booth! We sell candy, snacks, and water at home football games.
You get to interact with the Costa Community and hear the football game and band, while making money for our program!
All profits from the Candy Booth support the Marching Band and Colorguard!
If you are available to work in the Candy Booth, please sign up for a shift. Shifts are for adults only.
There are two shift times from which to choose. Things to know about the halftime show:
* There is no predicting if the halftime show will fall during the first shift, the second shift, or during the change of shifts. So regardless of the show time, please arrive 5 minutes before your start time as a respectful/responsible gesture to the shift before you.
* We experience a busy rush of customers during the halftime show. If you your shift happens to fall during the halftime show, you are required to stay in the booth and work your shift.
* There are many opportunities to watch the show if that is your priority, e.g. attend a field show on a Saturday, or signup for a different group, like Chaperone or Bleacher Prep.
* We appreciate those parents that signup for Candy Booth, knowing there is a chance you might miss that night's show. The Candy Booth is consistently a successful fundraiser for our booster each game and we are grateful for all of our volunteers.
Limited quantities of the volunteer t-shirts are still available for purchase for $20.00 each. Please contact Carolyn Mukai at [email protected] if you would like to purchase a t-shirt and state the size you are requesting.
Don't miss out on this sweet opportunity! Thank you!
Please contact Nikki Simpson ([email protected]), Hiroko Ikuta ([email protected]) or Ken Ikuta ([email protected]) if you have any questions.
