Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church
THANK YOU FOR SIGNING UP FOR MASS!
We continue to limit seating to follow social distancing guidelines from the CDC, State of Maryland, and the Archdiocese of Washington. When the Nave (our main sanctuary) reaches capacity with social distancing (80-90 people), seating will continue in the Narthex (up to 30-40 depending on group size), and then into Father Martin Hall (where Mass is seen via livestream). Eucharist will be available to all Catholics who attend Mass.
While we are operating under restrictions and opening OLHOC's parish building to visitors and Mass in phases, we have a limited capacity and need parishioners to sign up in advance. Below you will find available Mass times and available slots. Five minutes before each Mass begins, if space permits, walk-ins will be allowed to enter depending on the availability.
While the COVID-19 restrictions remain in place:
- Please do not visit if you are sick, if you are more vulnerable, or if you would feel safer at home. We continue to livestream our Masses and the Archdiocese notes that the Faithful will continue to be dispensed from their obligation to attend Mass on Sunday during this pandemic.
- Please do wear a protective mask and bring your own hand sanitizer.
- If you are not able to join us for Mass, we ask that you please return to this sign-up and cancel your seats so someone else can have the opportunity to use those seats.
Please visit our website for more guidance about visiting.
Volunteers for Mass
We also need volunteers to assist at each Mass as ushers, greeters and sanitizing team after each Mass. If you are healthy and would like to assist, please visit our Volunteer sign-up. If you are volunteering, you do not need to sign-up on this form.
If you have any questions, please contact the parish office at [email protected] or 301-645-7112.
We very much look forward to seeing you again. Thanks!
