KAT 2nd Stage The Little Mermaid Jr. Auditions

Welcome to Kensington Arts Theatre 2nd Stage auditions for The Little Mermaid, Jr. Please sign up for a slot on either Monday, May 9th, or Wednesday, May 11th. Auditions will happen at the Kentlands Mansion, located at 320 Kent Square Rd, Gaithersburg, Maryland, and will adhere to Montgomery County's COVID-19 protocols in place at the time.

Review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Please note that we may be running ahead or behind on the night of auditions and you should show up at least 15 minutes early and be prepared to stay slightly past your timeslot if needed. Thank you!

Auditions will be accepted from students in Elementary school through age 18. Please prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre/Disney or pop song that shows your vocal range. Accompanist will be provided--please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. Also bring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, a clear photo or headshot, and be prepared to fill out an audition form. If you cannot make auditions, please email [email protected] with one song of your choice and subject line (Name/ Show/ Role) you’re auditioning for by May 11th at 6pm.

We greatly encourage actors of all ethnicities, gender identities, as well as performers with disabilities to audition.

Production Schedule

Callbacks: May 12th or 16th location TBD

First Rehearsal: Monday, May 16th

Rehearsal Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Until tech week.

Show Dates: July 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, and 24
