K-State Research and Extension
The WIC Community Garden aims to educate, empower and feed the community through its 1/4 acre fruit and vegetable farm space located at the Olathe Health Dept.
Volunteers are welcome every Tuesday morning 8am-11am April thru October. It's a great way to learn about growing food, socialize, get some physical activity and contribute to a good cause. No special equipment required, we supply all tools but we recommend closed-toe shoes, bottle of water, sunscreen, and your favorite pair of gloves.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Remember to provide/check your email for notifications leading up to the scheduled workday - we may cancel or reschedule due to inclement weather.
Please complete our participation waivers annually online at: https://www.jocogov.org/department/health/women-infants-and-children-wic-program/wic-community-garden
