Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Additionally, please be sure to print and fill out the attached Volunteer Waiver below and bring it with you. Thank you!
One of the best ways to experience Peacehaven is to get your hands dirty at one of our Garden Workdays. Volunteer workdays will resume in June 2021. They will take place the second and fourth Saturday, beginning June 12, 9 - 11 am. We will limit the group size to 10, ask volunteers to sign a COVID-19 waiver, conduct screening upon arrival, practice social distancing, and wear masks at all times.
The safety of our core members, staff and our volunteers is a top priority at Peacehaven. As you likely know, individuals with developmental disabilities are considered an at-risk population. While not required, we strongly encourage all volunteers be vaccinated.
General Guidelines for Volunteers:
Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for additional screening.
Volunteers must sign a COVID-19 Waiver of Liability and a Volunteer Waiver attached below.
Volunteers must practice universal infection control precautions:
- Wash hands with soap/water before, during, and after volunteering for a minimum of 20 seconds.
- Correctly and consistently wear a mask that completely covers nose and mouth.
- Stay at least 6-feet away from others.
- Bring own water bottles/drink
Additionally, we ask that volunteers be prepared to follow farm safety, including wearing proper farming attire. Closed-toe shoes are required. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves, hats, insect repellant, and sunscreen.
*Please note that in the event of inclement weather, the Garden Workdays will be canceled.
We are excited to see you at the farm!
