Battenkill Canoe-and-Camp

Our June campout will be a Canoe-and-Camp!  We'll be staying at a campsite called The Preserve on the Battenkill.  We'll depart the church at 6:30 on Friday evening and set up camp.  In the morning we'll take the canoes upstream into Vermont and canoe back to camp.  We will return to the church Sunday morning.  There will be some mild 'whitewater', so that particular activitity is for experienced canoers.  However.....this trip will ALSO be a great opportunity for our new scouts, or others who don't want to canoe, to participate!  We'll have a group that stays back in camp on Saturday to do some other fun scout activities, to then be re-joined by the canoeing scouts later in the day.  It's going to be a great Scout weekend!  Sign up asap!
