Second Harvest Foodbank
We have transitioned to a separate tab for each service location. Please note the separate tabs above for Second Harvest Foodbank and the building and Stotoughton.
UW-MADISON INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS: Please step back from volunteering with us until further notice. Take good care and know that we look forward to welcoming you back when the time is right.
VOLUNTEER AGE LIMIT REMINDER: We are delighted to welcome volunteers 12 years old and above to participate. Volutneers 12-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult. To ensure safety and fairness, this policy is not flexible.
FACE MASKS, closed-toe shoes, and a shirt with sleeves* are required. Please plan to bring your own mask, but if you do not have one, we have donated masks to share. *Short sleeves are great - just no tank tops, sleeveless, straps, etc.
- No walk-in volunteers. Thank you for helping us have well-planned shifts with proper distancing.
Also, please use the 'Quantity' option to sign up more than 1 volunteer or sign up each individual separately. If completed successfully, you'll see a number in ( ) next to your name on the sign up listing. Please do not sign up for one spot and list other volunteers in the comment field.
- Due to health and safety concerns, we ask that health care facility workers/volunteers do not volunteer with Second Harvest at this time. We are grateful for the contribution you are already making in the community. Please volunteer with us once the Coronavirus outbreak is no longer a concern.
If posted/available shifts do not meet your scheduling needs, please email Pam Higham, Volunteer Services Manager, at [email protected] She will work with you to secure spots in advance.
Thank you for supporting Second Harvest. Together, we can do this!
