Temple Isaiah Covid Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in supporting families in this time of need. Our goal is to connect members of the Temple Isaiah community with congregants who have self-quarantined do to a potential exposure or a positive test result, congregants who are healthy but are isolating themselves because they are at high risk, and anyone else needing assistance in this challenging time.
We anticipate offering support in the following ways:
- Shopping for and delivering groceries or other supplies from a list (cost to be the responsibility of the recipient).
- Regular phone check-ins for those looking for a touchpoint.
- Occasional pet care (e.g. dog walking)
- Other minor tasks as requested.
Keep in mind that this is a rapidly changing situation, and that even though you volunteer to help now you may find yourself in need of assistance yourself later. Should that occur, please reach out through the request form (look for the link on the Temple Isaiah web site), by contacting a member of the clergy, or directly contacting [email protected].
If you have not yet signed up for a task and would like to be notified by email when new tasks are available please sign up for the "enrollment" task at the bottom of the list.
Please review the options and click on the button to sign up for a task that interests you. Shortly after you submit your sign-up one of the Bikur Cholim organizers will contact you with details of who needs assistance and how to provide that assistance safely.
