Troop 15/Troop 1015/Crew 215
Friday, February 19th - Sunday, February 21st
Two night camping trip with rank advancement, camp fire, songs/skits/jokes, smores, games, hike and service project opportunities.
Friday Meet at Camp Tamarancho (Ghilotti Campsite) at 5:00pm (Ghilotti Parking Lot - Right Turn 1/4mile before main parking lot). Map of Tamarancho for your reference.
Sunday Depart Camp Tamarancho at 10:00am (Ghilotti Parking Lot - Right Turn 1/4mile before main parking lot). Map of Tamarancho for your reference.
Transportation: All on own, No car pooling. Directions to Camp Tamarancho
Food: Will be provided by Troop
Cost: $40/Scout and $0/Adult
Gear: This is car camping, but we will be hiking our gear to our campsite, so bring gear you can hike with (backpacks, etc...)
Pack your gear in your Backpack, as we will be walking to our camp sites.

- Hand sanitizer
- Camping gear including tent & sleeping bag/pad
Everyone must have his or her own tent – NO SHARING TENTS, unless you are in the same family
Everyone must have their own mess kit for eating.
- Camping chair – with social distancing guidelines, it will make it more comfortable
- Scout Handbook - be sure to bring this in order to get your rank advancements signed off
- Scout essentials for the hike (listed in your Handbook)
- Mess kit – each Scout will clean their own mess kit and their own cooking equipment – bring your own cleaning items

Attire: Class A uniform on the way up to Tamarancho and on the way down
Class B uniforms for the weekend.
**For Scouts and Families new to our Troop, please let Lisa or Todd know by February 12th, if you need to borrow any equipment for this trip. We are happy to get the word out and see what we can find. All borrowed equipment can be sanitized.
Scout Books and Class A Uniforms can be purchased at the Marin Council Trading Post. Class B uniforms (size M-XXL) are available from the Troop and are $20 each
Health Protocols: Current A &B health forms needed (located here), masks at all times, social distancing, temp check upon arrival, food to be served safely. We will limit our groups to no more than 15 Scouts. Based on demand, we may have more than one group for this trip. If you are feeling ill on the day of, please do not attend.
Continuing Permission Slip Confirmation
By signing up for this activity, I hereby agree that the Continuing Medical Release and Permission Slip I previously signed and delivered to the Troop 15/Troop 1015/Crew 215 Committee applies to this activity and state the following with respect to this activity: I understand that participation in Scouting activities involves a certain degree of risk and can be physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding. I have carefully considered the risk involved and hereby give consent for myself or my child to participate in these activities. I also understand that participation in these activities is entirely voluntary and requires participants to abide by applicable rules and standards of conduct. I release the Boy Scouts of America, the local council, the activity coordinators, and all employees, volunteers, related parties, or other organizations associated with the activity from any and all claims or liability arising out of this participation. In case of emergency involving my child, I understand every effort will be made to contact me. In the event I cannot be reached, I hereby give my permission to the medical provider selected by the adult leaders in charge to secure proper treatment, including hospitalization, anesthesia, surgery, or injections of medication for my child. Medical providers are authorized to disclose to the adults in charge examination findings, test results, and treatment provided for purposes of medical evaluation of the participant, follow-up and communication with the participant's parents or guardian, and/or determination of the participant's ability to continue in the program activities.

By signing up for this activity, I hereby agree that the BSA Annual Health and Medical Record I previously signed and delivered to the Troop 15/Troop 1015/Crew 215 Committee for my Scout or myself applies to this activity, is not expired, and is the complete and appropriate form for this activity.
