The Archdiocese of Chicago has authorized parishes to begin public services provided they can do so in compliance with detailed procedures designed to protect all involved from the Covid-19 virus.
However, coming to church at this time still involves a risk of contracting the Covid-19 virus. All the faithful of the Archdiocese of Chicago continue to be dispensed from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation until further notice. If you or those for whom you care are vulnerable to infection, we encourage you to stay at home. If you feel sick in any way, or have any symptoms of any illness, please do not come to church.
Attendance at our services will be limited to 60 people.
Advance sign-up will be required to attend Mass and Holy Hour.
To receive Holy Communion, you will be guided by the volunteers.
Remember: you must sign up in order to attend - this will allow contact tracing if that becomes necessary. Sign-up information will be deleted after 14 days.
We realize this is very different from our usual worship and we ask that you have patience as we all try to adjust to new ways of praying in church. If you do not feel you can comply with the procedures we have outlined, please feel free to delay your return to church. We look forward to seeing those who feel able to come to Mass at this point. Let us pray that God bless us and keep us all safe and healthy.
