Dear Parish Family,
On June 1st, Bishop Malloy's letter to the pastors indicated that those parishes in the Diocese of Rockford that have already been certified and which have celebrated for at least one week Masses in the presence of the 10 faithful, may increase the number of faithful to a number not to exceed 30% of the seating capacity of the parish church. The actual number will vary from the maximum number in order to faithfully implement the necessary spacing for social distancing for us to comply with the Diocesan guidelines.
We will continue our regular Mass schedule: (No Sign-up Required)
Masses offered at 7:00 am and 8:30 am Monday thru Friday and 8:30 am on Saturday
Monday 7:00 PM (Polish)
Starting this weekend and moving forward, we ask that you sign up for Masses.
On your scheduled Mass day, we ask that you please follow all of these procedures completely:
- Anyone with a cough of any sort or anyone feeling sick should NOT come to church for any reason
- The faithful must wear a mask except for when receiving Holy Communion.
- You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled Mass and check in at the door. There will NOT be a "stand by" list for people to wait at the door.
We will continue to live-stream Sunday Masses with 9:00 am in English and 1:00 pm in Polish.
Please note that the Bishop has continued to suspend the obligation to attend Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation until further notice.
The Parish Office is open from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday - Thursday- Fridays from 9:00 am- 12:00 Noon. We will be happy to assist those who do not have internet access to sign up for Masses. As before, we ask that you sign up for yourself (and your family) for one Mass slot at this time. This will allow all of our registered parishioners a time at each Mass &hellip- and so unfortunately, we will not be able to allow anyone to attend or register for a second Mass until all parishioners that wish to attend have been accommodated. Let us hope and pray that this limit will only be for a short period of time.
Peace and Goodness,
Fr. Peter Sarnicki, OFM, Conv.
