Community Clean Up
The City of Woodland is announcing a Community Clean Up event on Saturday, September 19 from 7:30-11 am. All participants will receive a free t-shirt and a bagged lunch.
The City is asking residents to help clean up East Main Street from the I-5 exit to downtown. The north side of East Main Street will be divided into sections and a “team” will be assigned to each section. We will remove trash, debris, and dig up tumbleweeds. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, participant groups are limited to members of the same family or household. Masks are encouraged even though this is an outdoor event.
Students participating in the event will earn community service credit towards their graduation requirements.
Teams will meet for check-in starting at 7:30 am in the parking lot of Cracchiolo's at 1320 EMain Street. Teams will be given further details for the Community Clean Up event after they register (and before the event).
