VBS Volunteer Sign-Up

This is a volunteer sign-up for Vacation Bible School at Community of Grace during the week of June 27-30 from 9am-12pm.

Volunteers will be generally expected to arrive at 8:30am each day for morning prayer and announcements and stay until their stations have ended (11:30am) and/or all attendees in their care have been picked up (12:15pm).

All volunteers will be required to attend volunteer training (even if you have served in previous years.) Our training dates are Thursday, June 16, from 6-7:30pm or Tuesday, June 21, from 6-7:30pm. If you cannot make either of these dates, please contact Britta ([email protected]) to schedule a training meeting.

Here are some keywords for understanding our main volunteer slots:

Tribe Leader or Assistant: A "tribe" is a group of up to 10 kids that you would be leading. Tribes are broken up by grade levels, with older grades forming mixed-age tribes.
Shopkeeper: A shopkeeper takes on a Biblical persona (i.e., wears a costume) and leads 1 craft/activity for the whole week. Each tribe will visit your shop once throughout the week.

If you have a question about a particular volunteer slot, please reach out before submitting your information. All volunteers 18+ years of age will be required to undergo a simple background screening provided by CGLC.
