Welcome to Castle Gardens Swim Club! During this time, we will be limited to the number of members who may be in the Swim Club premises at one time per Wayne County Health Department Rules. Our total number of members allowed at one time in the pool premisises is 135. We thank you for your understanding and patience as we open for the Summer, we understand that our limits may be frustrating and you may wish it were different, but at this time, we are working to provide the best experience possible within the guidelines we have been given by the Health Department. If the guidelines we are given should change, please be assured we will do all we can to update all of you as soon as we are able and make adjustments to times and slots available.
-OUR CAPACITY PER 3 HOUR TIME SLOT IS 135 PEOPLE (not member families) on pool grounds. This is WHETHER YOU ARE SWIMMING OR NOT.
-We will be putting out 2 schedules per week - .One for Sunday through Wednesday and One for Thursday through Saturday. YOU MAY SIGN UP FOR ONE TIME SLOT ON EACH SIGN UP. You can only sign up for your member number and only the people listed on your membership form.
YOU MUST PUT IN A QUANTITY IN YOUR SIGN UP OR YOU WILL ONLY BE SIGNING UP FOR 1 (ONE) PERSON! WE WIL ONLY ALLOW THE NUMBER ON YOUR SIGN UP IN.
-Each Member FAMILY will be allowed to sign up for time slots ONE EACH Sunday - Wednesday and ONE Thursday - Saturday. This is regardless of the number of your family that attend.
-We will not be allowing guests at this time.
-ALL MEMBERS under that age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an ADULT over the age of 16. So members age 14 - 16 may attend without supervision, but you MUST be 16 to bring members under the age of 14.
-If you show up with more than the number of people on your reservation, ONLY THE NUMBER of people on the reservation will be admitted.
-The pool will be completely cleared at the end of each time slot for cleaning/sanitizing - YOU MUST VACATE the pool grounds within 5 minutes of the end of you time slot.
-You may arrive up to 30 minutes prior to your designated time to be checked in. Please LINE UP ALONG THE FENCE in front of the pool on HIX STREET. You will be responsible for maintaining your own social distincing in this line - please be kind to those around you.
-We ask your cooperation in keeping the pool deck, playground areas and pavillions as clean as possible - we are asking our staff to do some extended cleaning between sessions and not having to pick up trash, cans, etc - will allow the next group to enter the pool without delay.
-On the Pool Deck you will be asked to monitor and respect social distencing of those around you. You may wear a mask if you choose, but we will not require this, as this is an outdoor venue. Use of Playground areas, Basketball Cout, Pavillions and Restrooms will be at your own descretion and risk.
Please remember that our Staff and Board of Directors are doing their best to make this a positive experience for all. Your assistance in following directions and guidelines will make this possible. IF YOU HAVE SUGGETIONS OR NEED TO DISCUSS ANY ISSUES, please alert the Pool Manager and they will put you in touch with a Board Member.
If the pool should have to close during your time slot due to weather or any reason, a make-up day/time is not available at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
In the event that all time slots do not fill up, we will be sending out a text via our texting service, 12 hours prior to the start of the sessions with a new link for the Bonus Sign Up. These slots are first come, first served and are not counted as part of the 2 time slots per week - these are bonus slots.
