Speaker Series: The Two Emilie Lawrence Reeds of Blue Ridge Summit

In 1902, Dr. Walter Reed, who studied yellow fever and for whom the Walter Reed National Miltary Center was named, passed away leaving a widow and a daughter, Emilie & Blossom Reed, who resided in Blue Ridge Summit until their deaths.


Pam Anderson, CG, will review the women’s lives as an integral part of the Blue Ridge Summit community and more in this free presentation.
