Messy Church Volunteer Sign-up: September 23, 2018

Join us for Messy Church on September 23rd, and on the third Sunday of each  month all year! Messy Church is so named because life is messy, and God meets us wherever we are in the chaos; and because the model is interactive, using hands-on activities to reinforce a monthly biblical theme.

And Messy Church isn’t just for kids—it’s for EVERYONE! Created to be a multi-generational experience for the whole family, Messy Church allows us to celebrate God in a fresh, new way. It’s truly an interactive experience focusing on a basic theme each month. Imagine gathering each month with your family to explore your faith through engaging games, crafts, and activities; then celebrating together through music, prayer, and retelling of a Bible story in a fully participatory setting. You'll round out your experience with a family style dinner and go home with new ideas to connect with your family and with God.

The theme for September 23rd is “Creating & Caring.”

In order to make this happen, we need VOLUNTEERS! There will be several teams, as listed below, and volunteers will be needed to serve on each.

  • Celebration Team
  • Welcome Team
  • Activities Team
  • Kitchen Team

Please continue on for more detailed job descriptions.
