LINK Food Deliveries
LINK provides emergency food to those in need in the Herndon, Sterling and Ashburn communities. We deliver food 5 days a week - every Tuesday through Saturday.
If you haven't delivered for LINK yet, it is very easy: the night before you are signed up to deliver, you will receive an email from me listing the client's name, address, phone number, number of people in the family, and any special instructions. We ask that you call each client to let them know an approximate time that you will be delivering the next day. The day of the delivery, you will pick up the groceries at the LINK pantry, which sits in the parking lot of Herndon United Methodist Church (701 Bennett Street.) Groceries are ready by 3 PM during the week and ready by 12 PM on Saturdays.
THIS IS NOT A LIST FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED FOOD. IF YOU NEED FOOD, PLEASE CALL (703) 437-1776.
We try to schedule no more than 16 deliveries per day. If you wish to take more than 2 deliveries, you are welcome to sign up for more than 1 slot. Thank you for your continued support of LINK. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
