August 28th $149.
Part 1: 9am-12pm at the Fox, 3 hours of photo instruction
Part 2: 1-3pm at Diversified Lab, 2 hours of Lightroom instruction or a 1 hour private lesson
The architecture workshop you have been waiting for is here! You will learn basic and advanced techniques for capturing beautiful photo compositions of the classic architecture of the Fabulous Fox Theatre. We will teach you HDR (High Dynamic Range) exposure tips along with suggestions for the best compositions. Then at 1pm, we will meet at Diversified Lab, 1445 North Warson Road St. Louis, MO 63132 so you can learn some killer tips for importing and processing your images. If you cannot attend the afternoon session, you may meet with me privately for a one hour private Lightroom lesson at Diversified. Both options are included in the price of this workshop but the one hour private lesson must be taken within 2 weeks of the photo shoot.
In the morning, we will meet in the Lobby of the Fox at 8:45am. Parking should be available in the parking lot on Washington Avenue just East of Grand or on the street. We will start promptly at 9am, so do your best to arrive before then. Once we start, the Fox staff will need us to stay together as a group as we explore various photo vantage points in the lobby and theatre.
Professional photographers Tom Tussey and Scott Rovak are your photo instructors.
Join us for this 3 hour exclusive access workshop to all levels of the theatre (except on the stage) to see what you can learn to improve your architectural and HDR photography skills.
