Fireworks Booth Volunteer Signups
Once again this year, Dublin Partners in Education (DPIE) the Rotary Club of Dublin and the Music Programs at all three Middle Schools in the DUSD (Cottonwood Creek, Fallon & Wells) partner to raise needed funds through the sale of fireworks as sponosred by the City of Dublin.
All profits from the event will be divided equally among the 3 groups (Rotary, DPIE & DUSD Middle School Music programs).
This year our three organizations will have two booth locations. The DPIE booth is located in front of Marshall's at 7896 Dublin Blvd and the Rotary Booth is located in the vacant lot on Tassajara Rd across the street from Safeway.
This signup site is for all volunteer shifts in the two booths and each middle school is being asked to fill a specific number of shifts on each day of the seven days of fireworks sales. We are asking that each school's fireworks leader try to insure that volunteers select an equal number of days at each booth. Please select a shift from the designated day(s) and plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before your shift begins. To make it easier to monitor which school a volunteer is from and to make sure we can contact volunteers, each volunteer is required to share the following information:
* First & Last Name
* School they are representing
* Cell Phone Number
* Email Address
The monies raised from the sales will help Rotary fund charitable endeavors in the city of Dublin, allow DPIE to continue to support programs in the DUSD and provide a means for the Middle School Music Departments to purchase much needed equipment for their programs.
COVID Protocols - We will follow the guidelines as established by the Alameda County Health Department. Volunteers are welcome to wear masks even if they are not required by the county and hand sanitizer will be available in each booth for volunteers to use.
1. All volunteers must be 18 years of age and above and children under the age of 18 will not be allowed in the booth.
2. Unless the County Health Department changes their mask requirements, it will be up to each volunteer to determine for themeselves if they want to wear a mask during their work shift.
3. Volunteers should be prepared to work the entire 3 1/2 hour shift they sign up to cover.
Thank you all for agreeing to volunteer in the fireworks booth this year and each one of you will make a meaninful difference in the lives of Dublin citizens. If you have any questions, please reach out to your school's lead or send an email to [email protected]
