Capital Booster Club
Volunteers are needed for Capital High School Activities!
Without volunteers like you, we would have to pay ticket takers and ticket sellers to work each game. When we fill those shifts with volunteers, the ASB is able to retain those funds instead so they can be used for sports and activities at Capital.
Each team or activity that receives Booster Club support is asked to help fill these volunteer slots in order to maximize the money available for the grants they receive. If your student participates in any activiity supported by the Booster Club, you will be able to designate credit to that activity or athletic team for your volunteer shift. This information is taken into consideration when grant funds are distributed in the Spring. It's also a great opportunity to meet students and other parents and be part of our great Capital community!
****All volunteers need to register with Olympia School District each year. Please click here to fill out a background check application online. It is secure and confidential, and only takes a couple minutes.****
****If you are volunteering in the concession stand and do not have a Food Handler's Permit, we ask that you obtain your permit online at www.foodworkercard.wa.gov. When you bring a copy your current permit to the concession stand, you will get a coupon for a free meal deal or $5 credit in the concession stand.****
If you have any questions, please email [email protected] or contact volunteer coordinater Katie Hurley at (360) 888-2252.
