Easter Egg Hunt Volunteers 2019

Thank you for your desire to volunteer and serve during the Egg Hunt taking place on the Better Together Campus (3223 N 45th Street) on Saturday, April 13, 2019. The event is open to the public from 11:30-1:00pm. Below are different shifts and the amount of volunteers that we need. The more the merrier!

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled shift in order be properly oriented with your role.

Stuff Eggs (20)

Organize/get things ready for the egg hunt

SET UP TEAM (30)

This group will be unloading and setting up equipment and supplies for event (“The Muscle Crew”). This team will also help with setting up the Egg Hunt Activities.

FOOD TEAM 1 (20)

This first shift will be setting up table & chairs, prepping food & drinks.

 

VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN 1 (8)

This first shift will be setting up Check-in and Volunteer Care. Includes checking in volunteers and guiding them to their assigned area and leader.

DECOR TEAM (12)

This group will be blowing up balloons, hanging up streamers, and placing other decorations around the event area.

STREET TEAM 1 (30)

This first shift will go out in groups and invite the local community door-to-door and hand out fliers.

Grill out the food

FOOD TEAM 2 (20)

second shift will be serving food, tearing down and cleaning up the food area.

 

VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN 2 (8)

This second shift will be checking in volunteers and guiding them to their assigned area and leader then tearing down.

VOLUNTEER CARE TEAM (10)

This team will be going around to different areas and making sure volunteers have refreshments during event.

KID ZONE TEAM (50)

This team will be split up between Kid Activity Zones (Pre-K, K-3rd & 4-6th). Volunteer help with set up, running activities and tear down of each activity station.

FACEPAINTING TEAM (18)

This team is within the Kid Zone Team. Face painters will be set up in each Kid Activity Zone and will be responsible for painting faces using free-hand or templates provided as well as tear down of the area.

EGG HUNT TEAM (45)

This vital team will be responsible for running the egg hunt, resetting eggs and tear down of the area which is broken up by grades (Pre-K, K-3rd, 4-6th).

 

PARKING TEAM (15)

This team is responsible for Greeting and directing cars as they drive onto the campus.

 

GREETING TEAM (30)

This team will bring the energy while greeting guests as they arrive and assist them with information and directions.

 

Raffle Team (5)

Take peoples tickets and watch over the prizes

WAVE TEAM (30)

This second shift will create signs then wave at passing vehicles along the streets surrounding the event.

 
12:00pm - 1:00pm  

Greet/Hand out Bridge Invites (30)

Pass out Bridge Invites and say goodbye to people as they leave

TEAR DOWN TEAM (25)

This team is extremely important in helping tear down and clean up the event area. This team will help with loading equipment, chairs, tables and other items for storage. This team will help with trash clean up as well.
