2021 Suicide Prevention Awareness Month Sign Rally
During Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in September, we will be highlighting the importance of connection. When we connect with others, we feel seen, less isolated, and more likely to reach out for help. We want to remind our community that connection fosters hope.
We welcome you to participate in one (or more!) of the 7 sign rally events occurring during the month of September! On Monday evening's from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m and Thursday mornings from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. we will be infusing hope and connection by holding signs on the corners of intersections in 7 locations including Oregon City, Happy Valley, Lake Oswego, Estacada, Canby, Sandy and Milwaukie.
Neighbors, family, friends, community partners - all are welcome to partcipate! All you have to do is sign up here and show up at the identified location - we will bring the signs! **Please note that masks are required for all sign holders**
With hope and gratitude,
The Clackamas County Team
