ERUCC Sunday Fellowship
Each Sunday after 10:30am service at Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ, volunteers set up snacks and drinks in the community room. ERUCC members and visitors gather after church for an average of an hour in the community room. Typically, snacks and drinks are provided so unless you desire to supplement with your own treats or gifts, it is not necessary. Ideally, if 2 volunteers sign up, you should have enough time to organize the food and drinks, set out plates and cups and cleaning up afterwards.
Arrive at 9:30am if you would like to sit through part of the service, otherwise I would suggest setting up no later than 10:30am. Plan on spending an hour cleaning up afterwards.
You may use any food or drink item found in the pantry, the walk in fridge, the fridge near the door, and the freezer by the sink. Check for labels to be sure it is not saved for another event. If you add or return an item to the fridge or freezer, label it with the stickers found near the freezer.
Coffee will be made before the early service so refill the containers (found in the lobby by the front glass entrance to the church) (use a cart and transfer the hot pots and supplies to the community room) from the large coffee maker. Dump all these at the end of your shift. Cold drinks are found in the walk in fridge and fridge by the door. Look in the pantry for pitchers and lemonade mixes.
Paper products are on the shelves near the mop closet. Silverware and dishes are on a metal rolling shelf in the closet to the right of the kitchen (outside the kitchen) I can orient you to the dishwasher at your first visit.
Thank you for signing up for putting snacks out for our friends!!
