Summer is the time to relax and spend time with friends without any worries- unless you're Slate Stephens. The Governor's Dog is Missing by Sneed Collard reveals that Slate can't stay away from a good mystery, especially when it involves sneaking into offices at the capitol, rescuing a dog and spending time with his best friend Daphne McSweeny. At first the mystery seems easy, but with multiple red herrings, the search has only just begun. Enjoy checking out the book from the Lower School library!
