Dodge County Free Fair
New to the Fair this year is our Little Farmer's Barn.
This is an interactive and creative barn that teaches little ones about the importance of Agriculture and Horticulture through many hands on exhibits and projects. There will be a milking cow station, corn & soybean pits, vegetable and flower gardens, and much more. Our Barn is intended for our Little Farmer's 10 & Under as well as their parents too. Our hope is that our Barn will excite our Little Farmer's to be involved in 4-H, FFA, and Open Class exhibits someday here at the fair and to understand the importance of Agriculture and Horticulture in our communities.
There will be a Grand Opening Ceremony on Wednesday July 17th @ 1:00 pm.
Little Farmer's Barn Hours:
Wednesday, July 17th -1:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Thursday July 18th - 9:00 am to 8:00 pm

Saturday, July 20th - 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

So, in order to help make this work, the Dodge County Fair is seeking volunteers to help monitor and manage the barn the week of the fair. We want to make sure that there is someone there to answer questions, manage the age limit, maintain exhibits that are active, and make sure no one walks out with the any of the Barn's items. But, Most Importanly to have fun interacting with our Little Farmers.
You are welcome to sign up for as many shifts as you wish. Only requirement is that you have to be 16 years of age or older. Shifts will be primarily be 2 hours long unless its the starting or ending shift which will be a little longer to help with set up and take down for each day. Again we want this to be a fun and a learning environment that will entise our Little Farmer's to someday be apart of the fair as an exhibitor. You will recieve a free parking pass.
Feel Free to pass this on to those who you might think would be interested. We appreciate the help and we will see you at this year's Dodge County Free Fair's Little Farmer's Barn!
