Front Flower Beds / Welcome Garden (3)

Maintenance of main front flower beds. Weeding, watering, and general upkeep of plants.

Will greet new gardeners and show them the location of their plot with a brief on-site orientation explaining: where tools are, how to get into the shed, how to donate produce, how the compost works, where the sign-in book is, etc…

Newsletter Design

Use MailChimp to design, craft, and send p-patch newsletter. (Written content will be provided.)

 

Newsletter Writing

Work with Leadership Chair and Team to write and develop content for p-patch newsletter.

 

Patio Maintenance Team (4)

Maintain roses, grapes, and planters on the patio. Keep the area free of weeds. Team members will decide as a group how to proceed. One person to volunteer as Lead is recommended.

Photographers (20)

Take and submit pictures of the garden for use in garden marketing efforts, website, and social media accounts. Sign up and commit to taking photos at special garden events, monthly work parties, and garden workshops.

 

Plot Monitoring Team (4)

Work as an anonymous team to regularly walk the garden, assess plots for compliance to active gardening rules and report activities to the city office for documentation and follow-up steps. Email [email protected] to join!

 

Seed Library (4)

Set up, organize and maintain throughout the growing season. Answer questions from gardeners on usage. (Co-Leads: Anaistasia, Dea)
