Mud Lake Volunteers
Now that a lot of the invasive brush has been removed from Lower Mud Lake Natural Resource Area, invasive garlic mustard is rampant in several areas. Garlic mustard crowds out native species and reduces diversity in habitats. Removing plants early in the spring prevents seed formation and reduces the need for future herbicide use. We will either pull or clip plants depending on the stage of growth. Become a garlic mustard warrior! No prior training needed.
