Not a day off, but a day on! Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of service. Assist with improving three horseshoe pits and installing a new Gaga ball pit at Womble Park. The project is intended for volunteers ages 16+. Children ages 10-15 are able to assist with a parent/guardian in attendance. Dress for the outdoor weather and in clothes that are suitable for getting dirty. Pre-registration is required to ensure adequate supplies are available. A waiver will be required when checking into the day of service. If you are under the age of 18 a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver on your behalf. In case of inclement weather, the project is subject to be rescheduled or canceled. For more information, please contact Lori Puzak at [email protected] or 919-557-3230.
Please register for an available spot below and completing the SignUp Genius form. Volunteers will meet at the playground/open play area near the horseshoe pits at Womble Park.
