Transitional Housing Project
Thank you for being part of our success building our transitional housing project to help our homeless families end their cycle of poverty. Project Hawai’i, Inc. is a nonprofit organization run 100% by volunteers. Our mission is to help the homeless children succeed and end their cycle of homelessness in which they were born. Our tranistional housing project has been a vision for so long and now becoming a reality to be that stepping stone these families need to succeed.
We have a 10 week project of rehabbing, cleaning, reconstructing 3 homes to open up possibilities to some of our larger families. Of course this is going to provide for the opportunity of rubbish and recycling. Our volunteer team will have all the materials separately piled when you arrive and will load your truck ready to haul. You may even borrow some hands to unload as well. The Kea'au Rubbish site is less than 4 miles from our job site.
We really don't know how much or when the rubbish will be needed removed, so our plan is to have volunteers with trucks scheduled M - W - F. Volunteers can text us if they are needed before arriving.
If you wish to be a volunteer that wants to come weekly, we can even plan for different dates to be ready for your schedule.
