Travis County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension
Grow Boxes are self-watering, low maintenance gardening containers for small spaces. They are reusable, last for 5 years or more, and are great for vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. Travis County Master Gardener Vicki Blachman will demonstrate how to build a full-size Grow Box from readily available materials, then assist participants with assembling their own Grow Bucket. Travis County Master Gardeners receive one Continuing Education Credit for completing the workshop, the public is welcome to attend.
Full instructions on building a Grow Box can be found here: https://agrilifeextension.tamu.edu/solutions/how-to-make-a-grow-box/
No tools are needed to assemble the Grow Bucket. Supplies are limited.
Workshop will be outdoors, please dress appropriately.
