Social hall/study hall monitors are very important for keeping things fun and safe for all our kids. All students in the building without a parent/guardian must either be in class or social/study hall. Social hall/study hall monitors need to make sure all students are wearing their name badges and are in the right spot. You may be asked to help students put their belongings in the right place. Social hall monitors need to walk around to monitor students. Do not expect to work just with your own children or sit and read. Get to know the students! Be friendly and encouraging, but remind them to pick up their own trash, keep their stuff in the right place, and be respectful of other people and things. There are many expensive instruments in the building that need to be kept safe. Help them clean up their own messes. Social hall monitors will also help keep these areas clean.
