Guadalupe Food Pantry Volunteer Opportunities

All volunteer opportunities are at the Guadalupe Basic Needs Center at 326 South Jensen Drive, Houston, Texas 77003  unless otherwise stated. A map indicating where you can park is availble to download below.

 

Reminders:

  • If it's your first time volunteering, please bring a completed waiver with you - download below. ("Volunteer waiver" for those 18+, "Youth Volunteer Waiver" for those under 18.)
  • Ages 14+ are able to volunteer by themselves, 12+ are welcome with a parent/guardian.
  • Close-toed shoes are mandatory.
  • Water will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own.

 

COVID-19 Protocol:

  • Volunteers are required to wear masks indoors.
  • Volunteers are not required (but are encouraged) to wear masks outdoors.
  • If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, you will be asked to leave the building. If you are not feeling well, please remove yourself from the sign up and do not come to volunteer.

You'll assemble grocery bags to give to families in need via a drive-thru distribution. You'll be working outside, so please dress accordingly! You may also help with registering clients (bilingual Spanish a plus but not required for registration!).
