NHHS Water Polo Meal Volunteers 2018
Hello NHHS Parents!
Each family is asked to host at least two breakfasts and one team dinner for the season. Breakfasts will be for both J/V and Varsity combined unless noted. It's a great idea for the JV and Varsity parents to try and work together to coordinate the breakfast if both groups are practicing at the same time. Team dinners will be split up into each team, a J/V dinner and a Varsity dinner. This is a great way to support the team and the girls love it!
**If you are not able to bring a breakfast or host a team dinner, please reach out to a host and offer to help or donate towards the meal
Please plan for breakfast/dinner for the players AND coaches.
- J/V - 12 players and 2 Coaches
- Varsity - 14 players and 2 Coaches
Please plan to set up breakfast at 7:20 (practice ends/girls will be hungry at 7:30) and clean up the meal (the girls are short on time to eat and have to run to class!). Monday breakfasts will need to be set up at 8:05. A table will be provided at the pool deck for your meal. A disposable tablecloth is a good idea to bring along, as well as a couple of trash bags in the event the cans are full on the pool deck.
HEALTHY breakfast basics - Main Dish, Fruit, Drinks & Paper Products. Ideas include:
- Main Dish (bagel sandwiches, breakfast burritos, egg casserole dishes, etc)
- Fruit (bananas, oranges, berries, etc)
- Drinks (chocolate milk, OJ, water)
- Healthy options ONLY - NO donuts, sweet rolls, soda, candy, etc
Popular order ahead breakfast ideas: Shirley's Bagels Sandwiches, Super Pollo Breakfast Burritos & Los Primos Breakfast Burritos, Chronic Tacos- they will open early for us
Dinners are best right after practice. Girls will typically head straight over from the pool to your home. Again, please plan on healthy options (main dish, light dessert and waters/milk). Please add your dinner location address in the comments field when you sign up :)
