During the coming season of Lent, the church staff recognizes the deep need we, as humans and brothers and sisters in Christ, have for personal connection and time together "at table." In response, we will expand our in-person communion service starting February 21st. On Sunday mornings during Lent, we will begin Sunday Worship on the patio, from 11:00 to 11:45am. Each week, a pastor will lead 30 participants through Liturgy, a meditation, and communion, with music from our Creative Arts team. While our plan is, currently, to offer this service each week during Lent, it is subject to change per COVID infection levels and government mandates.
UPDATE Effective February 28, 2021: Registration is increased to a maximum of 30 per week, with the possibility of expanding that number in the future. We ask that members limit their sign up to once during Lent so we may offer Christ, Community, and Compassion to as many as possible. If spots are available the night before, you may disregard the request to attend only once during Lent.
All safety practices will be required. Masks will be worn and social distancing will be observed. Fixed patio seating is available and a few movable chairs will be sanitized and available as well. Participants are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs, if preferred.
We are happy to offer this time for each of you. We love you and we miss you. Stay safe and we will see you soon.
