We are having a Weekly Student Dinner every Wednesday after the 5:30 Student Mass as part of "Newman Night". It is an opportunity for our students to come together for a meal and fellowship.
It takes a team to feed a village, so we need groups to volunteer to provide and serve food for these weekly dinners. These groups can be parish ministry groups, Bible studies, groups from the community, multiple families working together, student groups, etc. We expect anywhere from 55-65 students attending each week.
There are dinner theme ideas listed below next to certain dates, however, if you have another idea please feel free to be creative and let campus ministry know your thoughts. Be sure to include a glutent free and vegitarian option for meals.
All plates, cups, plasticware, napkins, etc will be provided by St. Francis. Drinks (water and lemonade) will be provided by St. Francis. You may use the kitchen facilities and space at St. Francis to prepare food. Reimbursement for food purchased is available if needed.
Dinner will be served at 6:15 pm.
Weekly Dinners will be served outside in the front of the Newman Center (weather permitting), and in the Parish Hall if the weather is bad or once it becomes too cold to be outdoors.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to Bri Bruske in Campus Ministry at [email protected] or call the parish office.
