Invasive Plant Art-Build

Join local artist Justin Cifello in creating sculpture out of invasive species.  Using plants harvested at a previous workshop, we learn some basic techniques to create various artworks from wreaths to large scale sculpture. Attendees will be invited to create their own small works to take home, or contribute to a larger sculpture to remain on site at Mark's Cove.

Please sign up for an hour window of time to join the art build! You can show up anytime within your hour windown and do not need to stay for the full hour. These time slots are just meant to prevent large groups of people from congragating to ensure COVID safety.

Note: Work gloves are recommended.

This program is part of “Wild for Wareham,” a collaboration by the Wareham Land Trust, Mass Audubon, and Buzzards Bay Coalition’s Onset Bay Center for a full week of outdoor activities that highlight all that Wareham has to offer, during school vacation (April 17 – 24, 2021).
