Foundation for the Homeless
We are making accommodations to serve our neighbors experiencing homelessness to ensure that we can still provide for the needs of the most vulnerable without putting anyone, especially our vulnerable neighbors, at greater risk.
Breakfast "to-go" is being served each Tuesday and Thursday outside of the Family Life Center of First United Methodist Church, 1300 Lavaca. We need a group of volunteers to serve in various roles the evening before and the morning of the breakfast.
We request that all volunteers:
Please review the attached FMP Emergency Protection Procedures before serving. We will also review onsite.
We ask that only persons who have not traveled out of state, on a plane, or to a high risk area volunteer. Those who meet any of these criteria should wait 14 days after the return date to volunteer.
Volunteers should not be in the at-risk categories (older adults- individuals with heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease). Those signing up for "Outside Servers" must be under the age of 60, have none of the risk factors listed above and should not have significant exposure to anyone who has traveled out of state, on a plane, or to a high risk area without waiting for 14 days after the significant exposure risk occurred.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up.
Groups of 3 or more are asked to contact Randy at [email protected] We need each individual to signup with their own email address for the specific role they will serve in. Thank you!
