This position requires the physical ability to load in and set up tables, chairs and tents, etc.

General Setup Crew (2)

To assist in everything from hanging banners to bringing equipment down to the docks, to carrying heavy loads, and more. Volunteers in this position must be physically able to do the above mentioned tasks.

Volunteer Check-in (2)

Check in and distribute t-shirts to volunteers for each shift check-in.  Explain where they will be working, what tehyw ill be doing, etc. Keep track of all paperwork and make sure all of the release forms are completed.

Team Registration (2)

Assist with team check in. You must be organized and have good administrative skills. You will match rosters with the legal release forms and hand out wristbands and lanyards to team captains.

Dock Marshalls (8)

To hold the boats, help teams climb into the boats, hand out life jackets and paddles, and bail water out of the boats when necessary.  You must be able-bodied, comfortable in water and be able to swim.  You must be prepared for rain or shine.

Team Marshalling Assistants (2)

To assist with checking rosters, ID's and wristbands when teams line up to race, also calling for teams to come to marshalling area. This job needs volunteers with a commanding voice and who are quick and efficient.

Results Runners

To be stationed at the Finish Line Tent with the race officials. Will transfer the results from the finish line to the results tent.  Need to be calm and cool under pressure. You will give the race announcers the results in person or via radio.

Athletes' Village Supervisor

Maintain the rules of the park – no glass, no "carry in" alcohol, must be able to be assertive and request that prohibited items be returned to the participants’ cars. This position is located at the entry/exit and main walk ways of City Deck.

Clean-Up Crew (4)

To assist with general clean-up of all event areas, including collecting banners and return to sponsors, pack away materials and merchandise, clean up excess debris and litter, etc.
