Ripples 2022

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Deschutes Children's Foundation at our at our signature event, Ripples, on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at The Riverhouse on the Deschutes. 

This fun and energetic event is a showstopper and we need YOU to make it unforgettable. There are many different areas in which we need help. You can sign up for more than one shift if it works with your schedule.

A pasta and salad buffet and sodas will be provided for all volunteers on May 7 at the Riverhouse.

Transport guests back to their cars after the event. Make sure you have layers, gloves and hat! It gets cold driving the carts.

Check-In Helper

You will assist the check-in volunteer by locating the guest's auction packet. You will be working retrieving packets for two check-in volunteers so this is a fast-paced job. You will be standing and walking for your entire shift.

You will check guest out at the end of the evening. This will require you to look up information on the computer, print out receipts, and assist guests with locating their auction items.

Wine Wall/Wine Pull

Assist guests with wine purchase. $25 for one bottle and $100 for 5 bottles. Guests draw a numbered cork and you will find the corresponding bottle and present to guest.

Tasting Stations

Open bottles of beer, wine, and kombucha. Pour 1oz tastes for guests during the silent auction. Encourage the reusing of cups. For this job, you will be standing and talking with guests the entire shift. OLCC license is preferred.
