ADHDKC Parent Group
I have been following the COVID19 updates closely and believe that is in everyone's best interest if we cancel all of the March and April ADHDKC meetings.
As the situation unfolds we will decide when it is safe to resume meetings.
We appreciate your understanding and hope that everyone stays healthy during this outbreak.
Mom’s needs are often the most overlooked within a family. We hold ourselves up and strong within our circles of routines and work, to come home feeling exhausted, only to begin dinner, cleaning, homework, etc.
Stress becomes even more wary when your sweet child/teenager and/or love has ADHD and they, too, are exhausted. The meltdowns and inattentiveness often take place during the scheduled time slot when they are to be helping within the home or working on school work. You manage. You go to bed and you wake up for another round.
Where do you find moments for yourself?
Have you developed boundaries?
How do you minimize burnout and keep a sense of humor?
It’s time to make being a mother a top priority by identifying and establishing a new perspective in wellbeing. Join Bobbie Laine Mahaney for this important discussion.
This will now be done virtually. Watch for your invitation to join the meeting if you RSVPd.
