Shelby County Ohio COVID Vaccination Notification

If you are interested in receiving notifications when appointments are available for COVID vaccination in Shelby County, Ohio, please sign up here.  If you are located in another county or state, please check with that county or state for vaccine information.  Please note if you work in a school system, vaccine allocation to schools is occuring through a different process.  Please contact your school for additional information.

This sign-up is being utilized by both the Sidney-Shelby County Health Department and Wilson Health in a coordinated effort to distribute vaccines to those that live and work in Shelby County.

The Sidney-Shelby County Health Department and Wilson Health are following the Ohio Department of Health and CDC guidelines for distribution of COVID vaccine.  The Ohio Department of Health will coordinate vaccinations in four phases beginning with healthcare workers and ending with the general public.

How quickly we can vaccinate in those categories will depend on how much vaccine we get.  How much we receive and when it comes is still unknown at this time.  The amount of vaccine received will impact the amount of people selected for notification.  Once signed up, you will be called or e-mailed to schedule an appointment based on your sign-up information and applicable eligibility.

We have included the Moderna Emergency Use Authorization, the Pfizer Emergency Use Authorization, and the Janssen Emergency Use Authorization here for your review.  Currently, the Sidney-Shelby County Health Department has received the Moderna vaccine.  Wilson Health has received both the Moderna and the Pfizer vaccines.  The Jaseen Vaccine will be received in the near future. Additional vaccines may follow at a later date as they are authorized for use.
