Hello, Everyone!

Sign-up here for Martin Luther King Jr. Day service projects on Monday, January 21.  There are both projects on-site at St. Mark's UMC, as well as off-site at other faith communities and non-profits.  The general schedule is below.  Children need to be accompanied by adults.  Permission and liability forms must be signed for everyone under age 18.  If you have questions, feel free to contact me or the church office ([email protected], 812-332-5788).  Also, check back, on this site, for new projects being added.  Thank you for being a part of this great day!

Youth (ages 12-18) Cook for Your Community. 2-4pm @ First Unted Church (2420 E. Third) (15)

The Interfaith Community of Environmental Youth (ICEY) is sponsoring this opportunity for a fun, sustainable and decilious opportunity for youth to cook simple recipes, taste-test and donate food to those in need.

 

MLK Mitzvah Day Interfaith Project, 9-11am @ Congregation Beth Shalom. (15)

All ages (children w/ adult) are invited to put together "blessing bags" and to make sack lunches for those at Wheeler Mission and the Shalom Center.
