Greenwood Families

Our cultural traditions and heritage are part of what make us unique, connected, different, the same.  Greenwood's Culture Night allows our families to come together to celebrate and learn about many wonderful cultures.  Whether you wish to educate your Greenwood community by representing your own culture or research and represent a culture you are curious about, we welcome your participation!  Better yet, we need your participation!

This Sign Up allows you to choose how you would like to participate in this year's Culture Night.

You could create a table display respresenting a culture, region, or country.  Table display ideas include but are not limited to poster board displays, games, crafts, photos, books, art, and an always-popular crowd pleaser--food specific to the region or culture you are representing (small bites).

You could perform a cultural music piece, dance, performance art, or reading.  Make it a solo, a group performance, kids, or a mix of adults and kids!

Once you have signed up for either a "table display" or a "performance" (or both!), two things will be required of you.  First, please indicate in the "comments" what country/culture you will be representing in your table display and/or performance.  Second, you will be asked if there are children associated with that country/culture who wish to participate in this year's Fashion Show.  This is a great way for kids to get involved and feel a sense of pride as they walk across the stage to the announcement of their country/culture and name.

*Please sign up by Friday, February 15th.  And please note that table space and performers are limited.
