OVAC Office Hours
Join us for the next installment of Office Hours, part of the Artist Survival Kit series!
On January 27th, we're offering individual legal consultations with Douglas J. Sorocco, Intellectual Property Attorney and Director of Dunlap Codding in Oklahoma City. Doug practices in all areas of intellectual property law including patent, trademark, copyright, technology, and e-commerce. He assists clients with intellectual property matters requiring litigation, licensing, technology counseling and complex transactions. For this installment of Office Hours, Doug will also be covering business incorporation, employee issues, contracting issues, and more.
This program is for YOU if you want to learn about your creative rights as an artist, if you are worried about the legal requirements for your art business, if you are ready to hire help for the first time, or if you simply need a basic introduction to legal terminology and how it applies to your art practice.
There are 10 available sessions, and, as always, we offer them to OVAC members first. After one week, we open up registration to the public. If you are interested in becoming an OVAC member, please visit our website at https://www.ovac-ok.org/membership.
Each one-on-one session is 45 minutes long, costs $15, and will be held via Zoom. Following their sign-up, participants will be emailed within one business day with more information regarding their session. To get the most out of each session, participants will be asked to submit a list of questions for Doug to [email protected] by January 20th at 9 AM.
If you have any questions or need special accommodations to participate in ASK: Office Hours, please contact Audrey Kominski at (405) 879-2400 Ex. 2 or [email protected]
