2021 Frisco ISD Marching Band Showcase 09/28/21 (Tuesday)

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE FISD BACKGROUND CHECK AND CHECK-IN AT THE FRONT OFFICE IF YOU ARRIVE DURING SCHOOL HOURS.

Chaperones:  Chaperones are required to ride the bus to and from the event with the band and assist with a variety of tasks. Chaperones will stay with the band for the entire event. 

It’s important to wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking, climbing stairs and on your feet supervising students and assisting directors and staff as needed.  

No experience required.  It’s a great way to see the band in action!

Field Crew: Please be advised you will move drum major stands, sound and percussion equipment to and from the truck and on and off the field.

PHOTOGRAPHERS/VIDEO:  Please bring your own camera to take pictures. Video Volunteer will be provided video equipment.

All volunteers must enter the stadium with the band in order to gain entry. Late arrivals will need to purchase a ticket to get inside.

3:30pm  Dismiss from Class/Meal

4:40pm  Inspection

4:50pm  Meeting

5:00pm  Load Buses

5:10pm  Depart for Ford Center/The Star

5:30pm  Arrive at Ford Center/The Star

5:50pm Warm Up

6:40pm  At Gate

6:45pm  Performance of "Dark Waters"

7:00pm  Performance Concludes

7:15pm  Load Trucks

7:45pm  In stands to watch performances

9:30pm  Event Ends

9:45pm  Depart for WHS

10:00pm Arrive at WHS/Dismissed

Full size pickup to haul sound trailer

Arrive at school to pull small equipment trailer with SUV or full-size truck. Driver will become part of field crew for entrance to events. Will need to stay for entire event unless otherwise discussed. Please verify coverage with personal auto insurance.

Join photography crew to take pictures of the students! One Volunteer from this group will be taking pictures in the stands. Please bring own equipment.

Pre-Game dinner distributer (4)

Assist Food Crew with setting up and distributing pre-ordered meals from 3pm-4:45pm in the auditorium entryway. Will also need to stay to assist with clean up.
