Volunteer Positions for the 2018/2019 School Year

Please Consider Volunteering - Your Help is Greatly Appreciated!


Dear Saint Andrew Families:

We need you! Volunteers are a vital part of the success at Saint Andrew School. Please consider volunteering for one or more of the many positions available for the 2018/2019 school year. If every family would volunteer for one or two positions; we would be in great shape for the fall and you might just have some fun, too!

Please read the descriptions for the following volunteer positions and remember to mention any special information under notes i.e. preferred day(s), time(s), grade(s), teacher(s), special skills, etc. Please note if you are able to substitute or be a backup for our regular volunteers and give the day(s) you would be available to sub. Or if you would like to volunteer for a position that's specific to your child's/children's class please list their name(s) & grade(s) under notes.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT - ALL volunteers must submit a Volunteer Application which can be found on the SAS website link listed below as well as a Disclosure Statement found on the Child and Youth site.

Anyone new to volunteering must complete all requirements and send into the school office marked for Safe Environment Coordinator.  If you have specific questions regarding training, clearances, and forms, you may contact the Office for Child and Youth Protection directly at 215-587-2466.

For returning volunteers, please refer to the SAS website to review requirements and be sure you are up to date.

Absentee Caller COORDINATOR

Coordinate volunteers, find out their availability and create weekly schedule. This position needs volunteers to begins Sept 5th

Atrium of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Assistants*

1.5 hours weekly. Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade. Montessori environment centered on the Good Shepherd. Assist children in independent, quiet, meditative work to develop a relationship with Jesus. Short orientation. List preferred days under notes.
