Watch D.O.G.S. need to report to the office at 8:15 a.m. with their chid(ren) so that you can receive your schedule and instructions for the day.
Please be sure you are dressed in a way that portrays a positive image. We do not allow hats to be worn so please keep this in mind. You will begin your day in car rider line so keep in mind you will be outside. In the event the weather is calling for rain or snow you will want to be prepared.
Cell phone usage should be limited to emergency use only. If you need to use the phone for any reason you need to excuse yourself from the classroom and take the call in a location outside so that we do not distract the educational process.
Photos are not allowed to be taken of other students. Please refrain from taking pictures of other students. You will recieve a picture of you and your child(ren) at the end of the day.
Remember to either pack a lunch for yourself or bring cash so that you can purchase one from the cafeteria. You will be having lunch with your student and will want to eat with them.
Watch D.O.G.S are there to have fun and work with the teachers on the projects that they assign. Please ensure you are having fun, however, at no point is a Watch Dog to dicipline a child. If you have questions or concerns please notify the teacher or an administrator.
Your day will end just after 3:30 when kids are dismissed. You will end your day monitoring the stairwell at the top of the stairs.
We encourage you to create positive, lasitng memories with your child(ren) on your day as a Watch Dog. These are days that kids talk about and remember for a very long time. We thank you for volunteering and investing in the students.
