Long Island Explorium

Volunteer from home - Help make STEM kits for students in need

Reuse your Recyclables.

Transform your recyclables into supplies for science workshops for students in need.

Earn community service hours for your donations!

The Long Island Explorium is seeking donations of recyclables for our upcoming STEM workshops for students and families in need. For every “kit” donated, you’ll earn 1 hr of community service. So, keep off the couch during the holidays and help spread the wonders of science to our community.

Please pack your kits up in a box or bag and clearly label ‘Kit A’ OR Kit B’.

You can work individually or in teams to donate as many kits as you like. All individuals in a team will each receive community hours equivalent to the number of kits packed.

Unfortunately, due to space constraints at the Explorium, please drop off your donations on Saturday, January 30th. Location: Long Island Explorium. 101 E Broadway, Port Jefferson, NY 11777. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
