We are inviting you to volunteer for the 11th Annual Ready, Set, GOld 5K Walk/8K Run. This event is one of our main fundraising events benefiting the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley. This year's walk/run takes place on April 18th at the Ironton Rail Trail/Coplay Pavilion.
Our 5K Walk/8K Run takes place to raise funding necessary to continue to provide free programs and support services to children with cancer and their families in the Lehigh Valley. The 10th Annual event received an amazing response and, with community help, raised almost $70,000. Each year our race continues to grow but we could never do what we do without our dedicated and energetic volunteers. Please help make the 11th Annual Ready, Set, GOld an even bigger success.
Using this SignUp Genius will give you complete control over what volunteer position you are interested in, knowing the shift times, and to be able to make changes if needed. We will be providing you with a volunteer t-shirt. Please list your t-shirt size next to your name when you sign up (unless you already have one from a previous year).
If you know anyone who is interested in donating a raffle item, please email Tracy at [email protected]
The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley is a local, non-profit foundation focused on creating a loving and supportive cancer community so no family ever has to fight cancer alone. Families battling pediatric cancer can celebrate the joys of childhood despite their diagnosis. PCFLV provides quality-of-life, long-term survivorship, and bereavement programming to bring joy and laughter back into these families’ lives.Together, we can make a difference in the lives of local children with cancer and their families!
With love and hope,
Michelle Zenie, Executive Director and Race Coordinator
